On Sunday, October 18, Chef KO and Chef Heidi invite you to pull up a chair for the first At Our Table: Haiti × Sudan, an intimate multi-course brunch bringing Haitian and Sudanese food, stories and community together around one table.

What began as a friendship has grown into a recognition of how much our cultures understand about one another.

Haiti has konbit. Sudan has nafeer. Different traditions, different histories, but both carry an understanding that community is something we build together, that when there is work to be done, food to be shared or someone to be cared for, we show up. For one Sunday, we're bringing that spirit to the table.

Across 6+ courses, Chef KO and Chef Heidi will take guests through the flavors of Haiti and Sudan, from the foods we grew up eating to the dishes that remind us of Sunday mornings, family gatherings and home. Expect Haitian favorites alongside Sudanese flavors, brunch classics reimagined through our respective cultures, and a few dishes created where our culinary worlds meet.

This isn't fusion for the sake of fusion. It's two chefs sharing their cultures side by side. Two communities getting to know one another.
